LPN/RN Weekend Warrior Part Time 7p-7a
About The Position
Anna Maria of Aurora Inc is hiring a part-time LPN or RN for its Weekend Warrior schedule at a skilled nursing facility in Aurora, Ohio. The position is scheduled every Saturday and Sunday from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The facility describes itself as a 5-star, family-owned organization that has served the community for more than 60 years and offers a supportive work environment with long-tenured staff. The nurse will deliver and oversee resident care in accordance with regulations and facility standards, administer prescribed medications and treatments, support and supervise STNA team members, communicate with physicians and families, monitor residents’ conditions, maintain documentation, and help ensure a safe and compliant care environment. The role also assists with staff orientation and training. The listed salary range is $39.00–$50.00 per hour. The posting states that part-time Weekend Warrior LPNs can earn up to $43 per hour and part-time Weekend Warrior RNs up to $50 per hour.
Requirements
- Current, active Ohio license to practice as an LPN or RN.
- Current CPR certification.
- At least one year of experience in long-term care.
- Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and oversee resident care in accordance with regulations and facility standards.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Supervise and support STNA team members.
- Communicate with physicians and families regarding resident status and changes.
- Monitor resident conditions and respond to clinical needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and charting.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant care environment.
- Assist with staff orientation and training.
