About The Position
Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring LPNs and RNs for Pediatric Private Duty Nursing (PDN) in Pittsburg, KS, and surrounding communities. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide meaningful 1:1 care to a single patient and their family, away from the demands of a traditional hospital setting. The position offers consistent cases and schedules, with opportunities for supplemental income on weekdays, weekends, or overnights. The company emphasizes making a difference one patient at a time and provides paid training and clinical support.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including potential weekend or overnight shifts.
- Ability to provide consistent, dedicated care to one patient.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric experience is a plus.
- Experience in private duty nursing (PDN) is a plus, though training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 patient care in a home setting.
