LPN/RN Baylor Shift Nurse
About The Position
Trinity Oaks Health & Rehab is seeking a licensed practical nurse or registered nurse to provide resident-centered care on a Baylor weekend schedule. The nurse works under the direction of attending physicians and the Director of Nursing Services, helping deliver high-quality care to residents in a supportive senior living community. The Baylor schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Compensation includes a $5,000 signing bonus paid in increments over two years of employment, competitive base pay based on experience, an additional $4 per hour weekend shift differential for Friday through Sunday, an additional 25% Baylor pay, and an additional $2 per hour in lieu of benefits. Daily Pay provides access to earned wages before the regular payday. Dental, health (including a free premium option), life, and vision insurance begin after 30 days of employment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN program.
- Hold a current, applicable nursing license in North Carolina.
- Have current CPR certification or be willing to obtain it.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of nursing experience; this is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Administer and accurately document medications and treatments.
- Maintain secure medication rooms and ensure proper medication storage.
- Monitor residents and promptly report changes in their condition.
- Perform nursing procedures, including catheter care, dressing changes, and respiratory treatments.
- Supervise the nursing team and help foster a supportive work environment.
- Assist with repositioning and transferring residents while following safe lifting procedures.
