About The Position

Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team in addiction medicine. Crossroads has been a leader in treating patients with opioid use disorder since 2005, offering accessible, high-quality, evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT). The organization is dedicated to combating the opioid epidemic and guiding individuals toward recovery. Their approach is considered the gold standard in care for opioid use disorder, proven to reduce overdose deaths and promote long-term recovery. Crossroads operates outpatient, office-based clinics across multiple states, serving over 26,500 patients. Requirements

  • Licensed Practical or Registered Nurse License issued in the state in which they will be practicing or a multi-state compact status license.
  • License should be in good standing, unencumbered, and active.
  • If applicable, disciplinary actions documented on any license will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of nursing experience is preferred.
  • Strong phlebotomy skills, experience drawing blood on collapsed veins is a plus.
  • Active and current CPR or BLS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Follow policies and procedures to correctly identify patients and administer medication per the medical providers orders.
  • Dispense daily and take-home medication at the dosing window.
  • Coordinate care with clinical and medical staff for continuity of patient care.
  • Maintain and complete accurate patient documentation including assessing for impairment.
  • Ensuring medication count is accurate and completed daily.
  • Follow compliance policies and procedures around documentation practices and expectations.
  • Participate in nursing team meetings and cross treatment meetings.
  • Connecting with patients, offering true empathy and a listening ear to those struggling.
