About The Position

This position is for three Board Certified Radiologists at the Columbia VA Medical Center in Columbia, SC. It is a long-term, full-time contract position with a 3-year initial term and options to extend. The compensation is an all-inclusive 1099 rate of $420/hr for standard Monday-Friday hours, $35/hr for on-call duties from home, and $420/hr for call-back. Medical malpractice insurance (claims made + tail) is covered by the employer. The role requires an unrestricted state license from any state, Board Certification, BLS, ACLS, and the ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Spend 95% of time on clinical duties
• Perform and interpret CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and IR procedures
• Provide consultations to referring physicians
• Review patient cases and consults daily
• Communicate test results to providers and patients
• Conduct post-procedure evaluations and follow-ups
• Deliver discharge education and care coordination
