About The Position

Wander Staffing is seeking three Board Certified Radiologists for a long-term, full-time contract position at the William Jennings Bryan Dorn Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Columbia, SC. The role offers a competitive all-inclusive hourly rate of $420 for standard Monday-Friday hours, with an on-call rate of $35/hr (from home) and $420/hr for call-back. The company covers Medical Malpractice insurance (claims made + tail). The contract is for a 3-year duration with options to extend, and requires a 60-day notice if the contractor needs to leave. Wander Staffing, founded in 2018 by a retired Army Medical Professional, operates without non-compete clauses and does not lock in or claim contractors.

Requirements

• Unrestricted state license (any state)
• Board Certification
• BLS, ACLS
• Able to pass a background check as part of their security process

Responsibilities

• Spend 95% of time on clinical duties
• Perform and interpret CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and IR procedures
• Provide consultations to referring physicians
• Review patient cases and consults daily
• Communicate test results to providers and patients
• Conduct post-procedure evaluations and follow-ups
• Deliver discharge education and care coordination
