About The Position

Memorial Urgent Care is seeking a part-time LPN or Certified Medical Assistant to join its team at the brand-new Jerome location. The role is an integral part of the patient care team serving the growing Jerome Village community. The position is scheduled for 48 hours per pay period and offers an opportunity to contribute to patient care in a collaborative, inclusive community setting.

Requirements

For the LPN pathway: an active LPN license and a degree from an accredited school.
For the Medical Assistant pathway: current MA certification.

Responsibilities

Room patients; perform vital signs; obtain and update medical history and chief complaint.
Perform EKGs, injections, venipuncture, splinting, and point-of-care testing.
Document accurately and appropriately in electronic medical records.
Manage electronic health record in-basket messages according to provider instructions.
Clean and stock exam and procedure rooms and sterilize instruments.
Contact patients for follow-up after Urgent Care visits.
Provide an extraordinary patient experience.
