About The Position

StrataTech Education Group, including Tulsa Welding School and The Refrigeration School, is hiring a full-time, onsite Refrigeration Technology Instructor. Instructors lead hands-on training, mentor students, and support classroom safety, tool management, and curriculum delivery. Positions are available for day, evening, and weekend schedules. The role offers a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; in Jacksonville only, 18 semester credit hours of post-higher education are required.
• Three to five years of hands-on experience in the field taught within the last 10 years.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in shop or lab environments.

Responsibilities

• Teach using pre-developed lesson plans.
• Engage students and adapt instruction to different learning styles.
• Track attendance and grades.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and safety.
• Manage tools and equipment.
• Support onboarding for new instructors.
• Assist with curriculum updates and testing.
• Provide short-term tutoring and mentoring.
