About The Position

Adena Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant II for their Pediatrics Clinic in Chillicothe, OH. This is a part-time position, working 20 hours per week during the day. The role involves providing direct patient care in a clinical setting, administrative functions, and collaborating with the healthcare team. The LPN will provide nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), physician, or advanced practice provider (APP), utilizing fundamental to advanced clinical skills. The Medical Assistant Tier 2, an unlicensed healthcare professional, works under the direct supervision of a licensed healthcare professional, delivering patient-centered care and administrative support. Both roles require adherence to organizational values of compassion, excellence, integrity, and trust, and contribute to optimal patient outcomes and efficient clinic operations.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Practical Nursing (for LPN).
  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Ohio required (for LPN).
  • Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program (for MA).
  • Registered through American Allied Health (AAH), American Medical Technologists (AMT), Certified through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Health career Association (NHA) (for MA).
  • 1-2 years’ experience in medical office or similar capacity preferred (for both roles).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a similar capacity 1-2 years preferred.

Responsibilities
