About The Position

Adena Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (MA) for their Waverly Family Medicine clinic. This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week during the day. The role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care in a clinical setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), physician, or advanced practice provider (APP). Responsibilities include direct patient care, administrative support, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The LPN/MA will utilize foundational to moderate-complexity clinical skills and knowledge to ensure safe, patient-centered care in accordance with established policies and regulatory requirements. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Practical Nursing (for LPNs).
  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Ohio required (for LPNs).
  • Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program (for MAs).
  • Registered through American Allied Health (AAH), American Medical Technologists (AMT), Certified through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) (for MAs).
  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar capacity preferred (for LPNs).
  • 1-2 years’ experience in medical office or similar capacity (for MAs).

  • Medical Office experience (for LPNs).
