About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Licensed Practical Nurse Residents to provide home health care to clients in the Fayetteville, North Carolina metro area. The Nurse Residency Program is designed to help new graduate nurses begin a career in home health care through training, mentorship, and supported clinical practice. The program includes eight weeks of online coursework, in-person labs, and precepted clinical care, followed by extended oversight and ongoing training. Residents practice skills in a simulation lab and work independently in clients’ homes only when they feel comfortable and ready. Each resident receives a dedicated clinical mentor and may work with clients of all ages, diagnoses, and care needs. The role provides safe, one-on-one care in clients’ homes. Residents monitor and assess client conditions, carry out and document physicians’ orders, complete comprehensive assessments, and record observations, interventions, and evaluations related to nursing care. The residency is a full-time core program. After completing it, nurses may have flexible full-time or part-time scheduling options. Starting pay is $25 per hour during the eight-week residency and increases to a starting rate of $27 per hour upon completion. BAYADA provides paid training, 24/7 clinical support, and a supportive, team-oriented environment focused on professional growth.
