BAYADA's Nurse Residency Program is a paid home-care residency for recent nursing graduates who have passed the NCLEX and hold U.S. nursing licensure. It is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Nurse Residents provide one-on-one nursing care to clients of varying ages, diagnoses, and acuity levels. The program includes six weeks of training, paid training and shadowing, and flexible scheduling after training. Care is documented electronically using Statewise, and nurses have access to around-the-clock clinical support by phone. BAYADA matches nurses with cases near their homes to help provide short commute times. Pay is $27–$29 per hour for day shifts and $28–$30 per hour for evening or overnight shifts. BAYADA describes its approach as delivering care at home and offers residents the opportunity to explore their interests and practice new skills.
