Requirements
- LPN license
- Experience in Long Term Care (LTC)
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and physician instructions
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor and document residents' health conditions and report changes to RN or physician
- Assist residents with daily living activities and ensure comfort and safety
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and charting
- Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes
- Educate residents and families regarding treatment plans and healthcare needs
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and infection control standards
