About The Position

This is an 8-week contract assignment for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. The role involves working night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with 40 guaranteed hours per week. The LPN will provide direct nursing care to residents during overnight operations, focusing on patient safety, medication administration, monitoring, and ensuring continuity of care. Collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams is essential to maintain quality resident care and adherence to facility standards.

Requirements

• Active LPN license required
• Minimum 2 years of LPN experience required
• Active BLS certification required
• Strong medication administration skills required
• Strong patient monitoring skills required
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts required
• Strong documentation skills required
• Strong communication skills required
• Ability to respond effectively to changes in patient condition required

Nice To Haves

• Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred
• Experience working with geriatric populations preferred
