About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an ED LPN – Emergency Department for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse, NY. This role involves providing direct patient care in an Emergency Department setting, performing various medical procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Requirements

• Active New York State LPN License required
• Minimum 1 year LPN experience required
• Prior Emergency Department experience required
• IV insertion experience required
• Phlebotomy experience required
• EKG application experience required
• Current CPR/BLS Certification required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment required

Nice To Haves

• Prior inpatient hospital experience preferred
• EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Emergency Department setting
• Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy independently
• Apply EKGs and assist with patient monitoring
• Obtain and document vital signs, histories, and clinical observations
• Assist physicians and RNs during examinations and procedures
• Administer injections and medications as directed
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical areas per facility standards
• Support patient flow, admissions, and discharge processes
• Observe and report patient responses to treatments
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation
• Assist with clinical support and departmental operations as needed
