About The Position

As an Inpatient Rehab Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) at HCA Healthcare, you will help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence after illness, injury, or extended hospital stays. With average stays of two to three weeks, you will build relationships with patients and support their progress as part of a rehabilitation team committed to caring for and improving lives.

Requirements

Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN).
Vocational school graduate or associate degree.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (AHA) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
IV Therapy must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date for LPN/LVN.
No experience required.
No travel required.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and promptly report changes.
Assist with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living to support therapy goals and promote independence.
Monitor vital signs and neurological status to detect changes and respond quickly.
Document progress and functional ability to guide care planning and team coordination.
Educate and support patients and families about recovery milestones, safety, and self-care techniques.
Work with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver personalized, high-quality care.
