The role calls for a detail-oriented and compassionate nurse who can handle physically demanding tasks and support the broader healthcare team in delivering comprehensive medical services. The position is on 9A, a 16-bed medical/surgical unit specializing in rehabilitation. Nurses on the unit develop medical/surgical nursing skills, including physical assessments, IV therapy, central line care, pain management, skin and wound vac care, burn trauma care, medication administration, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team—including physical, occupational, and speech therapists—to develop goals of care. The team encourages and educates patients to self-manage and prepares them for a smooth transition home and into the community. This is a full-time day position, 36 hours per week, with shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. An $8,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates. New graduates are welcome to apply.
