About The Position

As an Inpatient Rehab Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) at HCA Healthcare, you will help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence after illness, injury, or extended hospital stays. With average stays of two to three weeks, you can build meaningful relationships with patients and see the impact of your care on their progress. You will work as part of a rehabilitation team focused on caring for and improving lives. The role includes administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient responses and reporting changes, supporting mobility and activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs and neurological status, documenting progress, educating patients and families, and coordinating care with nurses, therapists, and physicians. Requirements

Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN).
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Associate degree, certificate, or vocational school graduate.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments, monitor responses, and promptly report changes.
Assist with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living to support therapy goals and promote independence.
Monitor vital signs and neurological status to detect changes and respond quickly.
Document patient progress and functional ability to guide care planning and team coordination.
Educate and support patients and families about recovery milestones, safety, and self-care techniques.
Work with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver personalized, high-quality care.
