About The Position

The LPN Ambulatory - Rheumatology caregiver provides patient-first outpatient nursing care at Cleveland Clinic’s Richard E. Jacobs Health Center in Avon, Ohio. The role involves collecting and documenting patient information, performing nursing assessments, carrying out the current care plan and treatments, monitoring patient responses, conducting routine laboratory tests, and educating patients and their families. This is a full-time position with a 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. schedule and an evening and Saturday rotation.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of Practical Nursing.
• Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross.

Nice To Haves

• One year of patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document objective and subjective patient data and observations.
• Complete nursing assessments and report all data.
• Implement the current nursing care plan, medication, or treatment, and communicate patients’ responses.
• Observe patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
• Perform routine laboratory tests.
• Educate patients and family members.
