About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking compassionate and dependable nurses for a 1:1 home care opportunity. This role involves providing skilled, attentive care to an 18-year-old female client with a tracheostomy who is transitioning home. The position offers flexibility in scheduling, with day and night shifts available. BAYADA emphasizes that healthcare is better when clients receive care at home, and they prioritize delivering care with joy. They serve clients of all ages, diagnoses, and acuity levels, offering opportunities to utilize a wide range of skills, including advanced care like tracheostomy and ventilator management. Requirements

• Current valid nursing license and graduation from a qualified nursing program
• CPR in good standing

Nice To Haves

• Experience with tracheostomy management
• Experience with ventilator management

Responsibilities

• Travel to one client home near you on a schedule you choose
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations
• Perform skills with autonomy in the home
