Columbus School for Girls (CSG) is an independent day school in Columbus, Ohio, founded in 1898, serving diverse students in pre-k through grade 12. Columbus School for Girls will be hiring a temporary, full-time Lower School Homeroom Teacher - Maternity Leave Substitute effective January 2027.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher with an education certification or licensure.
Strong classroom management skills.
Proficiency with classroom technology.
Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction.
Collaborative and a good communicator who values working outside of the classroom with elementary students.
Understanding of the value of an all-girls education.
Eagerness to learn about the best ways to help young women of promise to reach their full potential as learners and leaders.

Nice To Haves

Exceptionally strong candidates will possess a liberal arts and science degree.
Familiarity with and willingness to learn Signapore Math curricula is preferred.
Energetic teacher who is eager to enhance a dynamic and evolving program by integrating 21st-century skills.
