About The Position

RIGHTECH is a leading nationwide provider of technical staffing services, and we are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Low Voltage Project Manager in Charlotte starting as soon as possible. This is a direct hire position with an ASAP start date, pending interviews and onboarding. The role involves managing the full lifecycle of low voltage and fiber optic projects from pre-construction through closeout.

Requirements

Experience managing low voltage and fiber optic projects
Ability to develop cost estimates, bids, and proposals
Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings, fiber splicing diagrams, and network designs
Skills in coordinating labor, materials, and subcontractors
Client and vendor management experience
Ability to conduct site walks and pre-bid assessments
Experience tracking project budgets and change orders
Knowledge of safety standards and local codes
Technical guidance and mentorship capabilities
Hands-on field knowledge for troubleshooting

Experience with ISP and structured cabling projects

Responsibilities

Manage full lifecycle of low voltage and fiber optic projects from pre-construction through closeout
Develop accurate cost estimates, bids, and proposals for ISP and structured cabling projects
Interpret construction drawings, fiber splicing diagrams, and network designs
Coordinate labor, materials, subcontractors, and scheduling to ensure on-time delivery
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams
Conduct site walks and pre-bid assessments to validate scope and identify risks
Track project budgets, change orders, and overall profitability
Ensure compliance with safety standards, local codes, and company quality expectations
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to field technicians and crews
Troubleshoot project issues using hands-on field knowledge when necessary
