About The Position

RIGHTECH is a leading nationwide provider of technical staffing services, and we are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Low Voltage Project Manager in Colorado Springs, CO starting as soon as possible. This role focuses on Fiber/ISP projects and involves managing the full lifecycle of low voltage and fiber optic projects from pre-construction through closeout. The Project Manager will develop cost estimates, bids, and proposals, interpret technical drawings, coordinate resources, and serve as the main point of contact for all stakeholders. Responsibilities also include tracking project financials, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and providing technical guidance.

Requirements

  • Low voltage project management experience
  • Fiber optic project management experience
  • ISP project management experience
  • Structured cabling project management experience
  • Ability to develop accurate cost estimates, bids, and proposals
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, fiber splicing diagrams, and network designs
  • Experience coordinating labor, materials, subcontractors, and scheduling
  • Client, vendor, and internal team communication skills
  • Experience conducting site walks and pre-bid assessments
  • Experience tracking project budgets and change orders
  • Knowledge of safety standards and local codes
  • Technical guidance and mentorship skills
  • Hands-on field knowledge for troubleshooting

Responsibilities

  • Manage full lifecycle of low voltage and fiber optic projects from pre-construction through closeout
  • Develop accurate cost estimates, bids, and proposals for ISP and structured cabling projects
  • Interpret construction drawings, fiber splicing diagrams, and network designs
  • Coordinate labor, materials, subcontractors, and scheduling to ensure on-time delivery
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Conduct site walks and pre-bid assessments to validate scope and identify risks
  • Track project budgets, change orders, and overall profitability
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, local codes, and company quality expectations
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to field technicians and crews
  • Troubleshoot project issues using hands-on field knowledge when necessary
