About The Position
RIGHTECH is a leading nationwide provider of technical staffing services, and we are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Low Voltage Project Manager in Ft. Myers starting as soon as possible. This is a direct hire position with an ASAP start date pending interviews and onboarding.
Requirements
- Low voltage and fiber optic project management experience
- Experience with ISP and structured cabling projects
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, fiber splicing diagrams, and network designs
- Proficiency in coordinating labor, materials, and subcontractors
- Experience tracking project budgets and change orders
- Knowledge of safety standards and local codes
- Technical guidance and mentorship skills
- Hands-on field knowledge for troubleshooting
Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle of low voltage and fiber optic projects from pre-construction through closeout
- Develop accurate cost estimates, bids, and proposals for ISP and structured cabling projects
- Interpret construction drawings, fiber splicing diagrams, and network designs
- Coordinate labor, materials, subcontractors, and scheduling to ensure on-time delivery
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Conduct site walks and pre-bid assessments to validate scope and identify risks
- Track project budgets, change orders, and overall profitability
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, local codes, and company quality expectations
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to field technicians and crews
- Troubleshoot project issues using hands-on field knowledge when necessary
