About The Position

The Lounge Bartender works part-time on Saturdays and Sundays. The role is responsible for preparing and maintaining the bar, serving guests, entering and processing beverage orders and payments, and securing bar inventory and cash. The bartender must follow applicable requirements for serving alcoholic beverages and maintain regular attendance.

Requirements

• Ability to comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Ability to follow applicable State, Federal, and Corporate requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

• Set up the bar daily and requisition and stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce based on projections from the daily functions sheet.
• Maintain stock and prepare, cut, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.
• Greet guests courteously and in a friendly manner, promote and document drink orders, and mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and prudent portion control.
• Comply with State, Federal, and Corporate requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Enter orders into the point-of-sale register and create a check for each guest, including guests served by other beverage servers, to account for all beverages served.
• Receive guest cash, provide change, verify charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly completed to balance funds.
• Lock up and store beverage, food, and other equipment items; deposit cash drops; and secure the bank.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
