About The Position

The Lounge Bartender is responsible for preparing and maintaining the bar, serving guests, processing beverage orders and payments, and securing bar inventory and cash. The position includes following applicable requirements for serving alcoholic beverages, maintaining product quality, and complying with attendance rules.

Responsibilities

• Set up the bar daily and requisition and stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, and produce based on projections from the daily functions sheet.
• Maintain stock and cut and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.
• Greet guests courteously and in a friendly manner, promote and document drink orders, and mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and prudent portion control.
• Comply with State, Federal, and Corporate requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Enter orders into the point-of-sale register and create a check for each guest, including guests served by other beverage servers, to maintain accountability for beverages served.
• Receive guest cash, provide change, verify charge validity, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed to balance money.
• Lock up and store beverage, food, and other equipment items; deposit cash drops and secure the bank.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
