About The Position

Jeff Wyler Springfield Auto Mall is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and motivated Lot Technician to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working around vehicles, staying active, and being part of a fast-paced dealership environment. No prior dealership experience is necessary, as training will be provided for the right candidate. The Lot Technician will be responsible for keeping the dealership organized, clean, and customer-ready.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work on your feet throughout the day.
• Comfortable working outside in various weather conditions.
• Able to safely drive and maneuver vehicles.
• Detail-oriented and takes pride in their work.
• Friendly and professional with customers and coworkers.
• Able to work independently while also being a team player.
• Willing to learn and take direction.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual-transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Previous automotive or dealership experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Moving and parking vehicles throughout the dealership lot.
• Maintaining an organized and attractive vehicle inventory.
• Washing, cleaning, and preparing vehicles for display and delivery.
• Fueling vehicles and checking basic vehicle condition.
• Delivering and picking up vehicles as needed.
• Assisting the sales and service departments with vehicle movement.
• Keeping the lot, showroom entrances, and surrounding areas clean and presentable.
• Installing license plates, floor mats, vehicle accessories, and other basic items as needed.
• Checking vehicles for obvious damage or cleanliness issues and reporting concerns to management.
• Helping prepare vehicles for customer appointments, test drives, and deliveries.
• Maintaining a safe and organized lot environment.
• Performing other dealership support duties as assigned.
