Jeff Wyler Fairfield Auto Mall is looking for a dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented Lot Technician to join our team. This is an important role in our dealership’s daily operation and customer experience. The right person takes pride in keeping our inventory organized, our facility looking its best, and our vehicles ready for customers. Requirements

Dependable and consistently on time.

Able to safely operate both automatic and manual-transmission vehicles, or willing to learn.
Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions.

Customer-service oriented with a positive attitude.
Able to follow directions and dealership procedures.
Comfortable working independently when necessary.
Possesses a valid driver’s license and maintains a safe driving record.

Automotive experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right person who has the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Maintain an organized, clean, and professional dealership lot and vehicle inventory.
Move and position vehicles throughout the dealership property safely and efficiently.
Prepare vehicles for customer appointments, test drives, deliveries, service, and display.
Perform basic vehicle lot checks, including verifying fuel level, cleanliness, tire condition, and overall presentation.
Assist with vehicle deliveries, dealer trades, vehicle transfers, and inventory movement.
Keep new and pre-owned inventory properly parked, organized, and easy for customers and sales staff to access.
Help maintain the appearance of the dealership lot, entrances, driveways, and surrounding areas.
Assist the sales and management teams with vehicle staging and customer needs.
Retrieve customer vehicles and return them promptly and safely when needed.
Identify and report vehicle damage, mechanical concerns, missing equipment, or other issues to management.
Follow all dealership safety procedures and vehicle-handling standards.
Maintain a professional appearance and represent Jeff Wyler Fairfield Auto Mall positively at all times.
Perform other dealership-related duties as assigned.
