About The Position
Jeff Wyler Fairfield Auto Mall is looking for a Sales Manager who wants to lead from the front, build a winning team, and make an impact. This isn't a position for someone who wants to sit behind a desk and watch the numbers. We want a leader on the floor. The ideal candidate is a proven automotive sales leader who is competitive, confident making decisions under pressure, an excellent communicator and negotiator, a coach who knows how to develop different personalities, comfortable holding people accountable, driven by measurable results, customer-focused, organized and able to handle multiple priorities, positive, energetic, and professional, and willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved.
Requirements
- Previous automotive sales experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team
- Strong understanding of the automotive sales process
- Experience working deals and negotiating with customers
- Strong knowledge of dealership performance metrics
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work a dealership schedule, including evenings and weekends
Nice To Haves
- Previous automotive sales management experience strongly preferred

- Lead the Sales Team — Set the pace, create urgency, and keep the team focused on the goal.
- Develop People — Coach sales consultants, sharpen their skills, and help turn potential into performance.
- Desk Deals — Work deals strategically while balancing customer satisfaction, profitability, and team objectives.
- Drive Accountability — Set expectations, track performance, and make sure commitments become results.
- Create Energy — Build a showroom culture where people want to compete, improve, and win.
- Work the Floor — Be involved in the action. Jump into deals, help solve problems, and lead by example.
- Track the Numbers — Know your traffic, appointments, closing ratios, units, gross, and other key performance metrics.
- Partner With Leadership — Work closely with the General Manager and other departments to keep the entire operation moving forward.
- Deliver a Great Customer Experience — Winning numbers mean more when customers leave feeling taken care of.
