As a Service Advisor, you are the face of our Service Department. You will work directly with customers from the moment they arrive through the completion of their service visit. You will help customers understand what their vehicle needs, communicate recommendations from our technicians, coordinate repair orders, and ensure every customer feels informed and taken care of. The best Service Advisors don't simply write repair orders — they build relationships and earn customers for life.

Requirements

Previous automotive Service Advisor experience preferred.
Strong customer-service and communication skills.
A professional appearance and positive attitude.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
The ability to manage multiple customers and repair orders simultaneously.
A strong understanding of automotive maintenance and repair.
The ability to explain technical information in language customers can understand.
Strong follow-through and attention to detail.
A sense of urgency without sacrificing accuracy or customer care.
The ability to work effectively with technicians, Parts, management, and customers.
A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
A genuine desire to build a long-term career in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers promptly and professionally while creating a positive first impression.
Conduct thorough vehicle walkarounds and document customer concerns accurately.
Listen carefully to customer concerns and translate them into clear repair and service requests.
Recommend appropriate maintenance and repair services based on vehicle condition, manufacturer recommendations, and technician findings.
Present repair recommendations clearly and professionally, explaining the why, what, and value behind each recommendation.
Develop trust with customers while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and dealership profitability.
Prepare accurate repair orders, estimates, and documentation.
Communicate with technicians and management to ensure customer concerns are properly diagnosed and addressed.
Keep customers informed throughout the repair process regarding recommendations, timing, costs, and changes to the repair order.
Obtain appropriate customer authorization before additional work is performed.
Coordinate vehicle delivery and ensure customers understand completed services and future maintenance needs.
Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and strengthen the relationship.
Maintain accurate records and follow dealership processes and manufacturer requirements.
Work closely with the Parts and Service teams to maintain an efficient workflow.
Consistently pursue opportunities to increase customer retention, service business, and overall customer satisfaction.
Maintain professionalism, urgency, and composure in a fast-paced dealership environment.
