About The Position

Bud Clary Auto Group is hiring a Lot Porter to support its Service departments and maintain dealership vehicles and inventory to dealership standards. The role involves inspecting, cleaning, preparing, parking, and moving vehicles throughout the lot, while keeping the inventory organized and the dealership grounds presentable. The position is located at Moses Lake Ford in Moses Lake, Washington. Weekends may be needed.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license.
Maintain an acceptable driving record consistent with company insurance standards throughout employment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills.
Team-player attitude.

Responsibilities

Inspect vehicles for damage and verify that accessories listed on invoices are present.
Record vehicle damage and list missing items on delivery receipts.
Park new vehicles in assigned areas.
Catalog and store vehicle keys.
Move sold vehicles to use space efficiently and keep the lot orderly.
Deliver sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department.
Wash vehicle exteriors using appropriate cleaning solutions and equipment.
Vacuum vehicle interiors, removing dirt and debris without disturbing customers’ personal items.
Park clean vehicles in the designated delivery area.
Maintain the dealership’s appearance by cleaning around the lot and removing garbage.
Prepare new vehicles for PDI.
Add fuel to sold vehicles and trade-ins.
Be a team player, communicate effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Drive vehicles as an essential function of the position and maintain an acceptable driving record consistent with company insurance standards.
