About The Position

J.C. Lewis Ford Pooler is seeking a reliable and motivated Lot Porter to maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of dealership vehicles. The role helps create a positive first impression for customers by keeping the lot and vehicles in top condition. The position involves outdoor work in all weather conditions in a fast-paced dealership environment, with occasional customer interaction.

Requirements

Be at least 19 years old.
Have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
Be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, bend, and perform manual tasks.
Be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills.
Have basic customer service skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Be reliable and adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Wash, fuel, and detail vehicles to keep them customer-ready.
Organize and maintain the dealership lot for easy vehicle access and a professional appearance.
Prepare vehicles for delivery and retrieve cars for test drives in support of sales and service teams.
Track and update vehicle inventory information accurately.
Monitor lot security, ensure vehicles are locked, and report any issues.
Perform light facility maintenance tasks, including cleaning and trash removal.
Collaborate with team members to support smooth dealership operations.
