About The Position

Boater’s World Marine Centers is actively expanding our team at our Lake Placid, FL location as we enter peak boating season. With 100+ boats arriving monthly through retail and consignment, we are seeking an experienced and highly organized Lot Manager to take ownership of lot operations, inventory flow, and overall organization. This role is critical to dealership success — ensuring all units are properly staged, accessible, and moved efficiently to support Sales, Service, and delivery timelines.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in lot management, inventory control, or dealership operations (marine, automotive, RV, or powersports preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high-volume inventory
  • Ability to lead, coordinate, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Experience towing trailers and moving large equipment

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily lot operations, ensuring all units are properly organized, staged, and accessible
  • Maintain a clean, structured, and customer-ready lot at all times
  • Implement and maintain systems for tracking high-volume inventory
  • Manage incoming inventory including retail units, consignments, and inter-store transfers
  • Coordinate timely movement of boats between Sales, Service, and delivery schedules
  • Ensure accurate placement and quick retrieval of all units on site
  • Provide direction to Lot Porters and support staff as needed
  • Delegate tasks to ensure efficiency and coverage across the lot
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Service, and Parts to prioritize workload
  • Safely move, position, and stage boats, trailers, and equipment across the property
  • Oversee loading/unloading processes to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Assist with receiving units and verifying condition upon arrival
  • Monitor lot inventory for damage, missing items, or inconsistencies
  • Ensure all units are properly staged and accounted for
