About The Position

The Automotive Lot Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization, presentation, and flow of vehicle inventory on the lot. This role ensures vehicles are properly displayed, clean, accessible, and ready for sale, while coordinating closely with sales, service, and management teams.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive or lot management experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to drive manual transmission (preferred but not required)
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily organization and layout of vehicle inventory on the lot
  • Ensure all vehicles are clean, fueled/charged, and properly merchandised
  • Coordinate vehicle movement between departments (sales, service, detail)
  • Monitor inventory and assist with vehicle check-in and stocking
  • Maintain lot safety, cleanliness, and overall appearance
  • Supervise and support lot attendants (if applicable)
  • Assist with dealer trades, vehicle pickups, and deliveries
  • Ensure keys are tracked and vehicles are secure at all times
  • Support sales team by staging vehicles for customer viewings and test drives
