About The Position

The Lot Maintenance Assistant performs basic duties in support of the parts, service, and sales departments. Responsibilities include routine housekeeping, maintaining the condition of department vehicles, inventory, tools, equipment, the facility, and vehicles, and potentially maintaining dealer-property grounds. The role may also involve moving displays or equipment within the dealership and operating a forklift to transport dealership parts, equipment, and supplies. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Good customer relations skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine housekeeping tasks.
• Help maintain department vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain the facility and vehicles.
• May perform grounds maintenance for dealer properties.
• May assist with moving displays or equipment within the dealership.
• Keep all store areas clean and organized.
• May operate a forklift to transport dealership parts, equipment, and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
