About The Position

As a Store Facilities Team Member at Parker’s, you will assist with the upkeep and presentation of the store. You will help maintain cleanliness and organizational standards inside and outside the store, including the fuel area, contributing to the store’s overall appearance and functionality while ensuring Parker’s standards are consistently met.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age upon hire date.
Must have reliable transportation.
Complete necessary training upon hire.
Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, while maintaining outdoor areas.
Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and power washers.
Ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours.
Ability to multitask and perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to push or pull up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning and organizational tasks to maintain store cleanliness and presentation inside and outside.
Conduct general property maintenance, including cleaning parking lots, landscaping, windows, doors, and restrooms.
Shovel and salt walkways during inclement weather to ensure safety.
Complete the fuel checklist daily and perform tasks to ensure compliance with company standards.
Clean fuel dispensers, fire extinguisher cases, fuel storage boxes, and fuel kiosks as part of regular maintenance.
Maintain washer fluid and paper towel levels in the fuel area.
Empty and maintain recycling machines, garbage cans, and cigarette receptacles.
Maintain cleanliness in interior areas, including floors, coolers, and storage areas.
Complete and schedule minor preventive maintenance tasks to help prevent larger issues.
Stay updated on new policies and procedures and adhere to company standards.
Communicate issues or concerns with the Store Leader or Shift Leaders.
Work through cleanliness checklists to ensure tasks are completed to the required standard.
Attend mandatory store meetings to stay informed and support store maintenance.
Share expertise and assist in the development of others in a collaborative learning environment.
