About The Position

This is an opportunity to start a career in retail automotive and become familiar with the vehicles on the lot. The Lot Attendant/Detailer maintains vehicle appearance and performance, keeps dealership lots orderly, moves vehicles as directed, and prepares sold vehicles for delivery. Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a background screening, including a criminal background check, a review of motor vehicle records, and verification of the Social Security number.

Requirements

• Ability to follow directions and instructions.
• Clear and valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Clean the interiors and exteriors of new and used vehicles and maintain their appearance and performance.
• Replenish vehicle fluids as needed and replace batteries when necessary.
• Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
• Keep new and used vehicle lots neat and orderly; move cars as directed by management and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Clean the driveway and sidewalks.
• Drive vehicles to and from the service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Make key tags for vehicles.
• Wash and detail sold vehicles for delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
