About The Position

Superior Auto, Inc. is a growing regional automotive group with nearly 50 years of experience helping customers get reliable transportation. The Detailer/Lot Attendant helps keep vehicles clean and ready for customers, maintains the dealership lot and vehicle presentation, and supports dealership operations. The role includes completing a 45-step detailing process, evaluating vehicles for safety, appearance, and maintenance needs, and assisting with seasonal lot maintenance. The position involves hands-on work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, with a 40-hour work week and a Monday-through-Saturday schedule; Sunday is closed.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and pride in work.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of the dealership team.
Comfort working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years old.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Valid driver’s license with limited moving violations within the last three years.

Responsibilities

Complete the company’s 45-step detailing process on retail vehicles.
Keep vehicles clean, presentable, and ready for customers.
Evaluate vehicles for safety, appearance, and maintenance needs, and communicate concerns.
Maintain the dealership lot and vehicle presentation throughout the year.
Assist the collections team with repossession and field collection activities in accordance with company guidelines.
Support other dealership activities and team members as needed.
Perform seasonal lot maintenance, including snow removal and lawn care, as needed.
Maintain detailing supplies, tools, equipment, and work areas.
Follow company safety procedures and dealership operating guidelines.
