About The Position
This is an opportunity to start a career in retail automotive and become familiar with the different vehicles on the dealership lot. The Lot Attendant/Detailer maintains the appearance and performance of new and used vehicle inventory, keeps dealership lots orderly, and prepares sold vehicles for delivery. Offers of employment are contingent upon successfully passing a background screening, including a criminal background check, a review of motor vehicle records, and verification of social security number.
Requirements
- Ability to follow directions and instructions.
- Clear and valid driver's license.
- Positive attitude.
- Clean driving record.
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities
- Clean the interiors and exteriors of new and used vehicles and replenish vehicle fluids or replace batteries as needed.
- Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
- Keep new and used vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by management and in accordance with dealership display standards.
- Clean driveways and sidewalks.
- Drive vehicles to and from the service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
- Make key tags for vehicles.
- Wash and detail sold vehicles for delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
