Loss Prevention Officer Day Shift
About The Position
National Beef Leathers in St. Joseph, Missouri, is hiring a Loss Prevention Officer for an on-site, safety-sensitive position. The role offers a full-time work week in approximately 3½ days, with schedules rotating every four weeks between Monday through Wednesday working full shifts and Thursday a half shift, or Friday through Sunday working full shifts and Thursday a half shift. The starting wage is $18.50 per hour, with an increase of $0.50 per hour after 90 days. Requirements
- Surveillance skills, including CCTV.
- Strong, ethical character.

- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
- Exemplary performance and attendance record at previous employment.
- Availability to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to perform light lifting.
- Must successfully complete a background check.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities
- Monitor, control, and document vehicular traffic.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and customers by controlling access and monitoring plant premises, assets, and personnel.
- Secure premises by patrolling property.
- Inspect vehicles, bags, and lunch boxes.
- Monitor controlled access points.
- Complete required reports in a timely manner.
- Record observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Prevent loss or damage to company property by providing a uniformed presence.
- Investigate incidents of irregularity.
- Contribute to a team effort.
- Protect product, equipment, and tools from leaving the property.
- Prevent weapons, alcohol, and drugs from entering the property.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
