About The Position

The Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center is hiring Loss Prevention Officers for PM and deep-night shifts. Officers work four 10-hour days. The PM shift runs from 12:00 to 10:00, and the deep-night shift runs from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. This is a full-time position for afternoon and evening shifts. Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor are expected.

Requirements

At least one year of loss prevention experience in a full-service hotel; only candidates with hotel experience will be considered.
TABC certification.
CPR certification.
Excellent communication skills.
Professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

Issue keys to designated hotel personnel and maintain accurate records and secure safekeeping in accordance with hotel procedures.
Identify non-hotel personnel arriving at the employee entrance and verify their purpose for being on the property.
Inspect employee packages, purses, bags, and similar items as employees enter or leave, as designated by hotel policy.
Ensure after-hours access to secured hotel areas is authorized, monitored, and documented in accordance with hotel standards.
Work cooperatively with outside agencies, such as police.
Coordinate emergency situations.
Investigate duress alarms and follow the applicable procedures.
Patrol the property, check designated points, and document actions in accordance with departmental standards.
Resolve safety hazards and emergency medical situations.
Conduct designated investigations into theft or lost items, noise complaints, assault complaints, food poisoning complaints, and other guest complaints; complete reports in accordance with departmental procedures.
Respond promptly to guest or employee accidents, administer first aid and CPR according to guidelines, follow departmental procedures, and communicate specified information to EMS or medical personnel as required.
Patrol parking lots and grounds.
