This individual will protect the Company's assets, including associates, merchandise, and property. They will monitor all ID badges for entry/exit to the facility and warehouse for all associates, as well as visitors, vendors, and contractors. The role involves monitoring and controlling sample merchandise, RTV (Return to Vendor), damage, and charity product disposal in accordance with company guidelines. Additionally, the position requires monitoring fire and safety regulations, FA/BA (Fire Alarms/Burglar Alarms) for proper responses, and ensuring trailers are handled correctly at the gatehouse and in trailer yards. The specialist will respond to emergency situations and assist in evacuations as necessary, ensuring zero physical security breakdowns. They will also conduct ongoing loss prevention, safety, and shrinkage awareness programs, ensure policies and procedures are followed, and report unsafe conditions. The role includes conducting basic investigations into associate dishonesty, power equipment accidents, and personnel injury accidents, as well as audits to uncover dishonesty, paperwork errors, and shrink-related opportunities. The specialist will initiate and maintain investigations of dishonest acts, sabotage, and accidents, and conduct safety and security tours of the distribution center. Finally, they will conduct audits to identify accuracy issues and operational execution areas.
