About The Position

The Loss Prevention Field Agent is a seasonal position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, Texas. The role helps protect park assets while supporting a safe and enjoyable environment for guests and employees. Pay starts at $14.75 per hour. The agent observes, witnesses, stops, and detains offenders in incidents involving shoplifting, counterfeiting, and ticket scalping. The position also involves investigating misconduct issues related to the park and its employees, assisting Security with individuals attempting to enter the park illegally, coordinating with local law enforcement, documenting incidents, and testifying in court when needed. Agents communicate with guests, employees, management, parents, minors, and law enforcement, including in potentially stressful situations.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work both alone and in a group setting.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and sun.
Availability to work flexible hours and varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain a Park Driver’s License upon eligibility.

Responsibilities

Observe, witness, stop, and detain offenders in shoplifting, counterfeiting, and ticket scalping incidents using Loss Prevention criteria.
Assist Security in processing individuals who attempt to enter the park illegally.
Investigate a wide variety of misconduct issues involving Fiesta Texas and its employees.
Communicate effectively with offenders, parents, Loss Prevention Management, local law enforcement, and park employees and management.
Organize paperwork and perform computer data entry.
Maintain composure while interacting with employees and guests in potentially stressful situations.
Interface with minors, adults, local law enforcement, and parents regarding internal and external theft issues.
Coordinate with local law enforcement as needed to arrest offenders based on Loss Prevention criteria, and provide photographic evidence and other documentation for prosecution.
Testify in court as needed concerning internal and external theft incidents.
Perform other duties as necessary to support the park as a whole.
