About The Position

The Loss Prevention Field Agent is a seasonal position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, Texas, paying $14.75 per hour. The role helps protect park assets while supporting a safe and enjoyable environment for guests and employees. Agents observe and respond to theft and other misconduct, conduct investigations, assist with law-enforcement coordination, and prepare documentation for possible prosecution. The position involves frequent interaction with employees, guests, offenders, parents, and local law enforcement, including in potentially stressful situations. The role reports to Public Safety Department Leadership.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Comfortable working alone and in a group setting.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and sun.
Availability to work flexible hours and varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain a Park Driver’s License upon eligibility.

Responsibilities

Observe, witness, stop, and detain offenders in shoplifting, counterfeiting, and ticket-scalping incidents, using Loss Prevention criteria.
Assist Security with processing individuals who attempt to enter the park illegally.
Investigate a wide variety of misconduct issues involving Fiesta Texas and its employees.
Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with offenders, parents, Loss Prevention Management, local law enforcement, employees, and management.
Organize paperwork, enter data into computers, and communicate with Fiesta Texas employees and management.
Interact with employees and guests while maintaining composure in potentially stressful situations.
Coordinate with local law enforcement, as needed, to arrest offenders in accordance with Loss Prevention criteria, and provide photographic evidence and other documentation for prosecution.
Testify in court as needed concerning internal and external theft incidents.
Perform other duties as necessary to support the park as a whole.
