About The Position
As a Loss Prevention Department Manager, you lead a team in protecting the company’s assets. You help prevent loss and control shrink by monitoring areas of the store for fraud, theft, and other security-related activity. The role includes leading and developing loss prevention associates, carrying out associate duties, and implementing solutions to reduce loss. The position requires availability for a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Motivate, train, coach, and lead loss prevention associates by example to identify and reduce loss from internal and external theft.
- Execute all duties of a loss prevention associate and meet individual case goals.
- Assess and develop associates’ skills to meet department goals and reduce shrinkage.
- Provide loss prevention associates with feedback on case statistics.
- Develop and implement solutions to solve problems and reduce loss.
- Work a rotation of day, evening, and weekend shifts.
