About The Position

The Loss Prevention Associate II supports the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management by carrying out core loss-prevention responsibilities, primarily serving as a visible deterrent to potential loss or dishonesty. The associate wears a body-worn camera, supports a positive customer shopping experience, and maintains a strong partnership with store teams and loss prevention. The role requires sound judgment to protect the associate, others, and the Company brand, while following Company policies, culture, and values.

The position is based at TJ Maxx Store 0482 in Vienna, Virginia. The starting pay range is $14.50 to $18.60 per hour; actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Maintain a proper and professional stance in the designated area at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss or dishonesty.
• Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide.
• Wear a complete Company-approved uniform, including a body-worn camera.
• Greet customers appropriately and demonstrate courtesy and respect.
• Establish and maintain a position at the front of the store or in a department.
• Respond to customer requests for assistance by referring customers to store management or customer service via a Company-issued radio.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or critical incidents to Loss Prevention or store management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management.
• Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
• Document required incidents in AIIM Case Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
