About The Position

Holy Spirit Catholic School, a Catholic Pre-K through eight Parish School in Annandale, Virginia, is hiring a long-term substitute Spanish teacher for middle-level grades, starting January 4, 2027. The teacher will work 25–28 hours per week and collaborate closely with a teaching team committed to student intellectual, spiritual, and character formation. The ideal candidate has a strong background in and passion for Spanish language and culture and can engage students in appreciating both. Candidates are expected to embrace the mission of the Catholic school, which recognizes the infinite value of each student, seeks to inspire lifelong learners, and ignite servant-hearted leaders. Compensation is $25–$30 per hour, determined by experience and certifications. This is a temporary position, and candidates are not eligible for benefits. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish or education is identified as ideal.
• Hold or be willing to work toward certification.
