About The Position

The 4th Grade Teacher provides instruction and support in the curriculum areas for which employed, with the goal of inspiring and preparing every scholar to pursue their dreams, contribute to the community, and engage in lifelong learning. The teacher designs, delivers, and assesses curriculum according to district guidelines; implements district, school, and program goals; and makes appropriate and equitable use of instructional resources and technologies. The role includes in-person, synchronous, and asynchronous learning when applicable, communication and collaboration with scholars’ guardians or caregivers, and working collaboratively with others. The teacher is also willing to participate in district and building leadership activities. This is a full-time long-term substitute position scheduled from February 8, 2027, through April 30, 2027, with a desired start date of February 8, 2027. Osseo Area Schools is a Qcomp school district.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
Minnesota teaching license in the appropriate field; alternatively, a valid Minnesota teaching license in another field and willingness to obtain an Out of Field Permission.
If not currently licensed, willingness and eligibility to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or Tier 2 license.
Passing background check following a conditional offer; employees are responsible for the background-check fee.
