About The Position
Westminster Christian Academy is seeking a Long-term Substitute Chemistry Teacher to begin as soon as possible for the remainder of the school year. The role involves teaching 5 classes. Westminster Christian Academy, founded in 1976, is an independent, co-educational college preparatory school serving 970 students in grades 7-12. Located in suburban St. Louis County, Missouri, on a 70-acre campus, the school is committed to providing an excellent education rooted in biblical truth, enabling students to develop a biblical worldview. The school operates from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and the pay for this long-term substitute position is $215 per day.
Requirements
- A clear testimony of a personal saving relationship with Jesus Christ
- Membership or faithful attendance at an approved Protestant church congregation
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong classroom management skills
- Strong professional or collegiate references
- Two professional references submit our Faculty Candidate Evaluation on their behalf.
- One Pastor Reference submitted on their behalf.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in middle and/or secondary school setting strongly preferred
- Experience teaching Science strongly preferred
