About The Position

ACES Mill Road School is seeking a long-term substitute teacher to provide coverage for two consecutive leaves. The successful candidate will support students in a K–8 special education setting by delivering instruction, maintaining classroom routines, and supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility, strong classroom management skills, and a commitment to a therapeutic, restorative, and student-centered learning environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to a therapeutic, restorative, and student-centered learning environment.

Nice To Haves

• Connecticut teaching certification preferred.
• Experience working with students with special education needs preferred.
